It is Kate's philosophy that ceramics education can be broken down into four pillars: Functionality, Building Methods, Surface Decoration and Production. This class welcomes the beginner adult ceramics student. Each session will focus on ceramic surface decoration techniques such as carving, painting and wax resist.
Under Kate's guidance, you will have the opportunity to experiment with different surface treatment techniques such as sgraffito, underglaze painting, carving, and resist methods.
