Take your oil pastel work further with advanced techniques in layering, color harmony, and composition. In this intermediate course, students will build on their foundational skills by exploring more complex subject matter and learning how to create depth, texture, and movement with this rich, tactile medium. We’ll also examine how oil pastels can push toward painterly abstraction while maintaining a strong sense of form.
Prerequisite: Oil Pastel 100 at Kate's Art School. Supply list provided here; students bring their own materials. Adults only. Free Open Studio Sessions included.
