2022-2023 Youth and Teen Tuition & Account Policies
Tuition
Annual Registration Fee: $30 per artist family
6-8 Year Olds: $585 for the year, or $65 per month
9-12 Year Olds: $720 for the year, or $80 per month
Teens: $1125 for the year, or $125 per month
Advanced Teens: $1485 for the year, or $165 per month
Extra Savings- 5% discount for yearly tuition payment in full by August 12, 3% discount if paid by September 9.
At Kate’s Art School we are proud to have an automated payment system for the convenience of our families and for the efficiency of our business. Each family is required to have a credit card or debit card on file upon registration to hold spot in class. Annual registration fee will be due at time of registration. Tuition will be charged on the first Tuesday of the month. Families choosing to pay by cash, check, or an alternate credit card must do so before the first Tuesday of each month. Monthly tuition is to be paid in full, the first month of enrollment; prices will be rectified the month following enrollment, to account for late enrollment.
If an auto-pay is declined on the 1st Tuesday of the month we will automatically charge the auto-pay again before the 15th of the month. If payment is not received by the 15th of the month a late fee of $20 will be added to the account.
2022-2023 School Season
Youth classes begin September 13th, 2022
Closed the entire week of Thanksgiving
Closed the entire week of Christmas
Closed the entire week of New Year's Day
Closed for Spring Break: Aligns with the dates for Jackson County Schools
Youth classes end before Memorial Day, 2024
Class Withdrawal
If you would like to drop a class, you may do so at any time. We do not offer refunds on tuition, or other fees, so please let us know by the 1st Tuesday of the month that you will be dropping a class to avoid tuition charges. In the case of withdrawal, if we are not contacted we will continue to bill you for saving the student's place in class.
Class Dress
Students are required to bring their own artist's apron/smock, or purchase one from Kate's store: Nibs and Nozzles
Class Supplies
Youth and Teen Students in the classes for those nine years old and older are required to bring any brand of sketchbook, every week. To purchase from Kate's Store, Nibs and Nozzles, click here.
Missed Classes
There are no makeup classes. Attendance is important.
Kate’s Art School does not give refunds for missed classes.
Class Cancellations
Kate’s Art School has the right to cancel or change any classes at any time.
There may be a minimum enrollment for a class to run. This includes our special programs such as one-day workshops, and summer camps.
Inclement Weather
Classes and the store may be closed if local schools cancel after school activities due to inclement weather.
No refunds will be given for classes cancelled due to conditions out of our control.

Advanced Art
This is an on-going class, with a minimum of three-months enrollment. Monthly tuition is not discounted for classes missed due to holidays and Spring Break. Students may register at any time; prices will be rectified the month following initial purchase from this website, to account for late enrollment. Summer hours may change the class time.
