No Class the week of Thanksgiving

Watercolor 300 is designed for those who are ready to focus on personal growth through sustained studio practice. This course offers more independent work time and less formal instruction, making space for students to apply their skills while receiving thoughtful feedback in a supportive group setting.

Each session centers around still life painting, with students working in their own distinct style and pace. Demonstrations are minimal, allowing the majority of class time to be spent on your work—refining technique, making creative decisions, and building a cohesive body of work.

The heart of this class is in the critique. You’ll develop your ability to analyze and discuss artwork, both your own and your peers’, helping you grow not just as a painter, but as a thoughtful, articulate artist.

By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a more confident personal style, deeper insight into your artistic process, and a collection of paintings that reflect your growth.

Prerequisite: Watercolor 200. Supply list provided here; students bring their own materials.
